Our Mission
The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of police officers and staff who have died in the line of duty.
The secondary purpose of the UK tour is to raise funds for care of police survivors, a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and staff who have lost their lives on duty.
We are proud to be part of the Police Unity Tour and humbled by the opportunity to “Ride for Those Who Died!”
About The Tour
The Police Unity Tour originally started in 1997 with 18 cyclists making the journey from New Jersey to Washington DC.
It has grown significantly with 1700 riders taking part in 2013 raising 1.72 million dollars for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
In 2013, inspired by the massive fundraising efforts by the Police Unity Tour in the United States, officers from the Metropolitan Police organised the UK's first Police Unity Tour in aid of Care of Police Survivors, a U.K charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and staff who have lost their lives on duty.
